We're in the home stretch!  The campaign will officially end on Friday, June 26th, at 11:59pm ET.  We've cleared the base goal, but we've unfortunately had some issues getting any more momentum.  Have no fear, however, because the end of a campaign typically means a boost in new backers.  I'm optimistic that we'll be seeing some movement in the next few days.

Some of you have expressed concerns to me about the $2,500 stretch goal.  While I'll admit it's a bit of a long shot at this point, I do want to let you know what will happen in the event that we make it.  Kickstarter requires us to reach our base goal by the deadline, but they have introduced the option of allowing "late pledges", which means that certain approved rewards and add-ons can remain available after the campaign ends.  My plan, therefore, is this: if we hit $2,500 before the deadline, I will make pre-orders for Volume 2 available as an add-on for two weeks after the end of the campaign.  That way, those of you interested in seeing both books make it to print will have the opportunity to order your copies, even if we only reach the stretch goal at the last minute.

Whether or not we make it to $2,500, you've already made my dreams come true by funding the first book.  CosPain will finally be getting the print edition it deserves, and I couldn't be happier with that outcome.  Keep spreading the word, and I look forward to celebrating with you all on Friday night.

I don't make comics nearly as much as other media at this point, so I've been conflicted about my creative identity. I'm not ready to drop the Cartoonist Extraordinaire moniker just yet, but who knows what the future will hold!

I'm trying to work through my backburner list (projects that are stalled out/early in development), so we're going to check out a comic that's in its earliest development stages and see if we can't make some progress on it! It's that time of year again! Well, to be honest, it was SUPPOSED to be that time of year a couple weeks ago, but I forgot. ANYWAY.

For the uninitiated, I run a poll every year to determine Ray's shirt color for the next year in my weebcomic CosPain. I do this because he's one of the only regulars who doesn't cosplay, so it gives him a little bit of variety and also helps me keep track of which "era" of CosPain I'm in.

Since I don't have quite as much time as I usually would, the poll will be ending on Friday, 12/26 at 11:59 PM ET. The selected color will be revealed with the New Years comic, which will go out to $3+ Patrons on Tuesday, 12/30, and to everyone else on Tuesday, 1/6. Cast your vote, and let your voice be heard!
