One of the things I learned a long time ago was that I enjoy media on its own, and engaging in the online communities built around those properties is usually a recipe for disaster. There's something about these spaces that brings out the toxicity, and even the most positive groups eventually seem to sour. Maybe that's because the negative has a way of sticking with you more than the positive, but regardless, I usually try to avoid tapping into the ongoing discourse. Except in person, as fans in my experience are much less toxic face-to-face than over the internet.
Rejekt Resort, incidentally, is a parody title of Hazbin Hotel, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I mean no disrespect towards the series or its fans.
Rock on, guys, and never stop drawing.
