Yep. This happened to me.
I was cosplaying as Zero from Zero Time Dilemma, got sick of the fogging, and tried to rub toothpaste on the inside of the goggles. The problem was, the mask had papier-mâché elements and the goggles were built-in, so I couldn't properly wash the toothpaste off. To be fair, though, they did stop fogging.
I kinda miss that costume. I've been thinking about remaking it, especially since having a plague doctor mask would be quite apropos with the current COVID-19 situation.
