I've done livestreaming for a while now and have been increasing my frequency recently thanks to the current situation with COVID-19. I'm not alone in this; lots of creators are hopping online and making content, even some that have never tired it before. It's honestly quite exciting, seeing how everyone is adapting to this difficult situation (including setting up online conventions like CyberCon, which I'll be participating in).
For those of you planning to start livestreaming, be ready for this to happen. It is SO HARD to keep the conversation going when the camera's live, especially if you're solo and talking into the void. I recommend writing down some topics you want to cover and using it as a cheat sheet whenever you run out of things to say.
I debated for a long time about which character should start livestreaming. The most natural choice, perhaps, would have been one of the tablers, as I tend to use them to reflect my artistic journey. Cosplay streamers are also less common (although definitely out there!), so I wasn't sure if that was the direction I wanted to take things. In the end, however, I decided that there were more interesting stories with MP figuring things out in front of the camera than any other character. I have plans, and they're exciting.
