I periodically use sites like UpWork and Fiverr to look for jobs. Sometimes, I find something interesting, but the majority of the offers are pretty awful. A lot of people make unreasonable demands for very low payoffs, and it's very easy to start second-guessing your normal price range upon seeing so many lowball offers.
The trick is to recognize that those posts aren't worth taking up your brainspace. The fact that they undervalue that type of work doesn't mean that you overvalue it; it means that they're not the type of client you want in the first place. Just keep going until a post that catches your actual interest pops up and ignore all the others.
Rock on, guys, and never stop drawing.
