Our nightmare series draws to a close as all good things must: with boobs.
Early on in CosPain, my mom sent me an e-mail that read, "It seems that you increase the cosplayer’s boobs a full cup size each strip. Someday they’re gonna explode." I've promised to put that as a reviewer quote on the back of the first official collection. In the meantime, Scotty gets to have weird dreams.
For anyone who didn't catch it, the "grilled cheese" line is a nod to Winsor McCay's classic comic Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend. While he's better known for his other dream-based series, Little Nemo in Slumberland, I prefer the weird and dark turns that the other work affords, and they were a big influence in making these last few strips.
