Basically every cisfemale cosplayer I've ever seen cosplay as a male character has done this.
I've never entirely understood manspreading. Yes, some of us have dangly bits that can get uncomfortably caught between our legs, but that generally requires, like, a couple of inches at most to accommodate. Any time I've been packed in with people, I've made my best effort to take up as little space as possible because that's just good manners. It's not always easy because I'm not exactly small, but respecting personal space is important. Why anyone would deliberately spread out as much as possible in such a situation is beyond me.
Also, for those wondering, MP has like five sports bras on right now, and they're about to explode.
