I absolutely LOVE Virtual Reality. I've tried the Vive, the PSVR, the Oculus, you name it, and every time it's been a phenomenal experience. I genuinely believe that, if more VR systems can finally find their way into the mainstream of gaming, then that'll be the future of the industry.
I don't own any VR systems at the moment (although I'm hoping the release of the PSVR2 will change that). Thankfully, cons sometimes have VR Free Play areas where anyone attending can give them a try. This is where the majority of my VR experiences have occurred, and flailing wildly out in the middle of a convention center hallway with a bunch of OTHER people doing their own silly dance is a small price to pay.
