 Cosplaying a mecha is on my bucket list, specifically Big O. I probably won't do it just because it would be an UNBELIEVABLE amount of work and would be exhausting to schlep around a con center, but a guy can dream, right?

I saw a guy at Otakon cosplay a Zaku II. It wasn't as hard as you'd think. Plywood w/ Foam. He built some short stilts to get additional height and used EVA foam on the outside for the shaping. I got some pictures of the build-up. A lot of War hammer costumes are made the same way. Then again, it'd depend on which mecha you'd want to go as. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
